A SMOOTHER APPOINTMENT

A few things
to know.

Practical answers to help you prepare.

What should I bring?

Bring your complete document and acceptable identification, such as a valid government-issued photo ID. All necessary signers should attend. Tell us in advance if you need help establishing the identification requirements.

Should I sign beforehand?

For documents requiring a signature in the notary’s presence, wait until the appointment. Requirements differ by notarial act; ask before signing if you are unsure.

Can you come to my home or office?

Mobile appointments can be requested at a suitable agreed location in the service area, subject to availability and any applicable travel charges.

Do you provide witnesses?

Do not assume witnesses are included. Confirm the document’s witness requirements with the receiving party or an attorney, then tell us what is required before the visit.

How much does an appointment cost?

Ask for a quote. Charges depend on the required notarial acts and location; any permitted travel expenses are discussed in advance.

Can you advise me about my document?

We cannot provide legal advice, choose legal documents or determine which notarial act you need. Contact the receiving organization or an attorney for those questions.

Is remote online notarization available?

This site offers requests for in-person appointments. Remote online notarization is not offered here.

Is my requested time confirmed?

No. Your request is saved for review. Availability, the meeting location and charges must be confirmed before your appointment.
